Quick post: On the way to Sioux City, we stopped in Kansas City at Joe’s KC BBQ (as recommended by one of our neighbors).  Good call!!!

Joe’s is off the beaten path and located in a gas station, so I don’t think you’d go there unless someone recommended it. They had unbelievable brisket, beans, pork and ribs. Yowsa! I know Kansas City has lots of BBQ, but I’d add this to your agenda if you were going through town! Had to wait in line, but only about 20 minutes.  The place was slammed, though!
