The 2014 Concrete Canoe National competition was hosted at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown (UPJ), and the paddling competition was held at the Quemahoning Reservoir nearby, a beautiful venue.

We were of course rooting for the Michigan Tech team since our son is on that team, but there were teams from all over the US, and including Puerto Rico, Canada, and as far away as China. This is a great event, and the Michigan Tech team was a terrific group of fabulous young adults, Go Huskies!!
