I am home alone – time to get into mischief. Karen, with a whiff of good judgment, left me. Before she breezed out of here, she said something about an airline ticket, Bermuda, a bathing suit, and the fact that there was enough food in the freezer to last a month. I didn’t catch it all. Yes dear.
Anyway, I am pretty much confined to home. Not only confined to home, but confined to what I can do on crutches as a result of “hitting” the slopes recently, and not comfortably at that I might add.
You will be pleased to note that I did not spray down the sidewalk or electrify the front door knob. I decided I would get out my camera and take some home pictures – experiment with some settings and lenses, and see what I could come up with.
Let me just say that doing anything, including photography, on a pair of crutches is a bit of a challenge.
With the holidays in mind, here are a few photos from the house.

I do so hope you enjoy the décor pieces I picked out and placed around the house – I do seem to have a tasteful way with decor. Karen wanted to just write Merry Christmas with a black Sharpie, but I convinced her we needed more spirit. Hope she isn’t listening.
Glad to see you still have a sense of humor… nice Christmas decorations. Merry Christmas to you and your clan! Hope Santa will let you get rid of the crutches soon. Cheers, c & j griffith
