Family, friends, fun…we had nothing but a great time this Christmas weekend. Drew drove home from school in Michigan, Michela came home from school in North Carolina, and her friend Hasan flew in from Nebraska. And the weather could not have been nicer here in Atlanta!
Prior to Christmas we had a very nice visit from neighborhood carolers – terrific!
During the weekend we had help from our good neighbor Pete, Hasan and Drew splitting a stack of firewood – no easy task!
Christmas day was punctuated with gifts, food, fire pit and of course the proverbial Flintlock (a time honored Roberts family traditional holiday drink).

And Christmas night we visited the Atlanta Botanical Garden! If you are not familiar with terms such as Brilliant Bugs, Glittering Galaxy, Gleaming Grove, Liquid Lights, or Twinkling Terrace then you have not made it to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens for Garden Lights. With kids, family and friends in for Christmas we made a Christmas night trip in to see Garden Lights – magical!
Hope you and yours are having a fabulous holiday season as well!
