Old Car City – May 2016

Blink once if you remember names like Monte Carlo, Cutlass Supreme, Tempest, Grand Prix, Falcon, Corvair, Edsel and Desoto… Blink twice if you’re lying.

I took a day this past week to go visit Old Car City up in White, GA. With over 30 acres, more than 6 miles of trails (I personally hiked 3 ½ miles), and over 4,000 vehicles, this is a massive junkyard. Yes, junkyard. And I mean junk.

This place is a photographer’s dream. Typically when I shoot photos about 95% of them see the cutting room floor. On this trip? I couldn’t decide which photos to trash – they were almost all good! Not my talent – just the place is great. A German Shepherd could take great pictures here.

So with no further ado, here are but a few. Stay calm – drive on.
