The Yin to the Yang of the Mojave Desert is Palm Springs, CA. We only spent a couple of days in Palm Springs but got to celebrate Karen’s birthday at a great restaurant, go to a fabulous farmer’s market for some great fruits and veggies, peddle around the city on bike trails, go to a mid-century modern open house (David Wexler architect home – gorgeous!), camp at a high-end RV campground (OK, that’s a lie; and we were right next to the shuffle board courts), and enjoy the gorgeous terrain and mountains of Palm Springs. Looking forward to coming back here in February to spend more time and enjoy Modernism Week!
