What a week in San Diego, CA! There is just so much to see and do here, all encompassed in beautiful weather. For our week in January, the lows were around 50 degrees and the highs were in the low 70’s. We enjoyed a couple of bike outings around Mission Bay (we were camped at Mission Bay RV Resort), as well as kayaking in Mission Bay (had one seal encounter and a lot of bird sightings).
The girls (Rosie and Lucy) enjoyed several trips to the dog beach, and we enjoyed a great meal and tasting at Stone Brewing (this is a must). We also peddled our bikes along the shore in downtown San Diego in the convention area – fabulous.
For me one of the highlights was walking the golf course at Torrey Pines (North Course), the setting for the Farmer’s Open in just two weeks. Wow, what a beautiful course (well, as long as you stay in the fairway). I made a point not to sign any autographs; you know how fickle the public can be. Watch for me on TV at the Farmer’s Open. Actually the only thing you might see is a few of my divots.
