Antsy McClain opened for Tommy Emmanuel tonight at the Variety Playhouse in Little Five Points – two great performances. Antsy was solo (without the Trailer Park Troubadours) and played about a 30 minute set.
Antsy (second from left) is a great performer – and a really nice guy (picture of us with friends and Antsy outside before the show). Absolutely fun to watch, always a great performance! Tommy Emmanuel is, well, Tommy Emmanuel, and words don’t adequately describe what he does on the guitar. One of the best performances I remember in a very long time. He must have played a two hour set, and it was all him non-stop. Speechless. He is that good. Between Antsy and Tommy this was an incredible night!
